Civi
What's happening near you, across the Philippines, in one place.
Civi collects public updates from across the web and sorts them by your city, municipality, or barangay. It is the first product from chainnes, a solo tech studio in the Philippines.
Civi is not open yet. Join the waitlist and we will write when it is.
Civic information is scattered
Public updates sit across dozens of sites, pages, and feeds. It is hard to find the ones that apply to your area.
-
Many sites
Government pages, LGU sites, and advisories each live in their own place.
-
Many pages
A notice can be posted once and then be difficult to find again.
-
Many feeds
News and public social posts move quickly, and local items get buried.
How it works
Three steps we are building. This is the plan, not a live service yet.
-
Gather
Civi gathers public sources: government sites, LGU pages, public advisories, news, and public social posts.
-
Organize
Items are sorted by place and by topic: advisories, weather and disaster, roads and traffic, utilities and outages, public services, local news, and events.
-
Follow
You follow your area and get a clean feed of what those public sources said.

How sources are handled
-
A link on every item
Each item is planned to link to the original public source, so you can read it there.
-
Public information only
Civi uses publicly available information. It does not collect private messages or private groups.
-
Data privacy
The waitlist asks only for what is on the form. Civi follows the Philippine Data Privacy Act.

From public sources on the internet: government sites, LGU pages, public advisories, news, and public social posts. Civi does not use private accounts or private groups.
Is it official?
No. Civi aggregates public sources and is planned to link each item to the original. It is not an official government service.
Is it free?
Joining the waitlist is free. We have not set a price for Civi.
Which areas?
Coverage is planned across the Philippines: Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao. No area is live yet. The map above is a placeholder.
How is my data used?
We keep only what you type here: name, email, role, and province or city if you add one. We use it to contact you about Civi. The form does not ask for a phone number, home address, or ID.
